Z3DFAB Opens Digital Production Center in Korea With First of 27 EOS M290 System

Z3DFAB relies on technology from EOS to make its digital production center the best in class for the medical, automotive, and aeronautic market.

a Joint Venture (signed in 2016) betweenZ3DLABa French expert in Additive Manufacturing (AM) and HS -HITECH a Korean semiconductor cleaning expert is bringing the first M290 with EOSTATE MeltPool capabilities to Korea. This is the initial step which will lead to equip the first phase plan of 27 machines in its 10,000 square meter DONGTAN-MYEON facility. The additive factory will be operational for medical certification and production by the end of this year.

We have been working very hard with our French Partner to haveZ3DFABa Best In Class AM center. AM technology is to be compared to foundry, parts do not come out finished. It is not a press button industry. Since last year, until now, we have combined our knowhow in cleaning and machining with our partners knowledge of AM, to establish unique postprocessing protocols to be ready for medical certification ISO 13485 and production. And the arrival of the EOS M290 EOSTATE MeltPool will contribute into keeping high standards. Says Mr Seong Soo KIM CEO of HS-HITECH.
